From April 3–6, 2026  Geneva, Switzerland, will host the 26th Euro Armenian Games, turning the city into a vibrant hub of sports, culture, and Armenian pride. Join the AGBU Germany team as an athlete or fan, represent Germany and the Armenian diaspora, and make unforgettable memories!

Team Sports or Individual Competitions – There’s Something for Everyone

Whether you’re drawn to team sports like football, volleyball, and basketball, or prefer individual disciplines such as backgammon, table tennis, chess, or badminton, Geneva has something to offer everyone. Reflecting on the 2025 Games in Sofia

This year, the AGBU Germany delegation had the honor of participating in the Euro Armenian Games in Sofia. As our delegation leader, Maria Safarian, stated, “The Euro Armenian Games provide a unique platform to strengthen our bonds and celebrate our rich culture. I look forward to leading the next delegation to Switzerland, a country with a vast Armenian history.” These games are a testament to our resilience, joy, and shared identity.

A Weekend Full of Highlights

For both athletes and fans, the 2025 Games in Sofia offered unforgettable moments: exciting competitions by day, lively celebrations by night, and the unity felt during our traditional Kochari dance with Armenians hand-in-hand. There was a surge of energy that filled every event, renewing our commitment to Armenian culture and our collective heritage. Attendees left not only inspired but also emboldened, carrying a strengthened sense of Armenian identity back to their diaspora communities.

Euro Armenian Games

I would like to participate as a team member of the AGBU Germany team in the 26th Euro Armenian Games (EAG), which will take place from April 3 to 6, 2026 in Geneva / Switzerland.


Conditions
By filling in this registration form you agree with the following required conditions.
The completed registration forms should reach us by January 15, 2026 and pay 50% of the fee.
Updated registration forms should reach us by February 28, 2026, together with the remaining 50% of the total amount of the participation fees.

EAG central house rules
All EAG registered participants must comply with the central EAG house rules. We refer to the official website for the general house rules, see www.euroarmeniangames.eu/house-rules. 
 
Sports
EAG 2026 has the right to change or cancel any sports if there are insufficient participants in advance. 
EAG 2026 has the right to limit the number of teams entering in each of the sport modalities. 
EAG 2026 will give great importance to Fair Play and with that the rules and guidelines of all sports are to be adhered to throughout the tournament. Rules are provided on the EAG website. 
All participants must be in possession of Health & Accident Insurance.
EAG 2026 is not responsible for any damages at the sports venue or surrounding area. Any incurred costs for damages will be passed on to the individual and/or group leader responsible.
Disqualification and future participation will also be considered.  
EAG 2026 is not responsible for theft, loss, damage of personal properties.
 
Participation 
EAG 2026 has the right to expel any individual from the tournament and accommodation should there be any unruly behavior against EAG 2026 Committee members, Other Participants, Sports Venue or Hotel Staff without any refund to fees. 
EAG 2026 are not responsible for any damages at the hotel venue or surrounding area. Any incurred costs for damages will be passed on to the individual and/or group leader responsible. Disqualification and future participation can also be affected. 
EAG 2026 are not responsible for theft, loss, damage of personal properties.
